Charity →
This is a really unique and effective charity based on the idea of using social media to connect those in need with their community. If you’re anything like me, you know how important private charity is. The less we give as individuals, the more those in need feel they have to turn to the government, leading them to become reliant on the state instead of themselves. Check out the website...

Michael Vick makes me sick… I don’t know how you can learn to be a humane individual through jail time, but I hope he has. Obama… there are much more deserving individuals of your attention. I’m all for 2nd chances, but seriously, this guys deserves no accolade from the president.

Not that the majority of those in the media will pay attention to this, but who’s thinking Eric Holder should have been pressed a little bit harder over the charges he dropped with the New Black Panther Party? It’s not like Ahmadinejad thinks we, the western world, are literally Satan… Oh wait, yes he does. Good job Eric. Keeping the pressures off the NBP Party so this lovely alliance...

The results of prayer, charity and getting the word out. This sermon, given by my minister one week after the church decided to start a ministry for the homeless, shows how big of an impact a small group of people can have. Mt. Bethel now has the room and supplies for over 1,000 homeless individuals to stay warm, get a meal and have a good, safe nights sleep. I didn’t have a clue tweeting...

Answered Prayers
Those of you who read my post about a week ago (http://tumblr.com/xw8ycymtc) probably felt my frustration level with the churches in the community I grew up in not reaching out to those within their own community who are in need. I prayed about this for a long time. I emailed my dad to see what he thought, but being in school in a different city, I wasn’t really sure if there was much else I...

Can’t think of anything I rather see than a White House advisor bashing the United States overseas… But seriously, this is outrageous. Does anyone remember when the Dixie Chicks did this in France? People were outraged. Do they even exist anymore? If they do they certainly aren’t pulling in the big bucks they use to. We’ve gone from country music artists being scrutinized in the...

1st, I should apologize to Anthony Weiner. When I said you didn’t know what you were talking about when you were trying to smear Glenn Beck & Goldline, I must have been crazy. I must look like an idiot now that gold is up over $1400 an ounce. Oh, no wait…

Charity Starts at Home →
(Click to see article) Marietta, GA is my hometown, and this article blows me away. East Cobb County is one of the wealthiest communities in the state of Georgia. By no means is everyone living in the area well off. My family is certainly not rich, and many are struggling just as much as any other community in the country, but there is no excuse for this. There will always be poor people, and...
