This is a really unique and effective charity based on the idea of using social media to connect those in need with their community. If you’re anything like me, you know how important private charity is. The less we give as individuals, the more those in need feel they have to turn to the government, leading them to become reliant on the state instead of themselves.

WatchThe results of prayer, charity and getting the word out. This sermon, given by my minister one week after the church decided to start a ministry for the homeless, shows how big of an impact a small group of people can have. Mt. Bethel now has the room and supplies for over 1,000 homeless individuals to stay warm, get a meal and have a good,safe nights sleep.
